A few poems in English I published some time ago commented by @marbledmayhem:
For our penultimate featured writing post of 2023, Osmosis is excited to be featuring extracts from ‘The exact stellar science behind’ by Marzia D’Amico. ‘[T]alk[ing] away the dooming politics of the so called / real world’, the poems ‘Being alone isn’t the only option.’, ‘You need something gentle and tender right now.’, ‘People often return to what’s familiar, not what’s good for them.’, and ‘Be brave enough to trust your own voice.’, are a transliterary invocation for love, empowerment, and kinship. As ‘intertwine[d] […] songs for [a] better existence’, liberation (that ‘loaded word’) comes as a softness ‘tender like the night oh, yes the night of the song the night’. ‘[P]ronouncing my wording’, D’Amico ‘shout[s]’ ‘out in the tiny asemantic particle // For more than one voice’ as the concrete act of speaking covers the living and the dead in ‘the jaguar sun’ ‘until sun dawns’ ‘because love multiplies’ ‘at night’.
